What to Expect
- You’ll work from home and can be located anywhere in the world. You’ll need a quiet space, fast internet, and the discipline to stay on task without close supervision.
- As a Virtual Receptionist, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks and client communication duties to support our mission of helping immigrants secure their future in the United States through asylum.
- You must be flexible - the nature of tasks may change day to day or over time, with you stepping up to do whatever is needed to provide our clients with efficient and pleasant service.
- You must speak Spanish and English fluently and be comfortable using both languages professionally - you’ll use both languages every day on the job.
- Experience in a U.S. immigration law firm is preferred, but not required.
- Salary commensurate with experience. Pay may increase quickly if you’re a great fit for the firm and perform excellently. Compensation in U.S. dollars.

- While job functions are sure to evolve over time and you will be asked to do a variety of different things, you will focus, at least to start, on two core functions:
Communications/Administrative Support
- You will answer and place phone calls in both English and Spanish, ensuring that everyone with whom we engage by telephone has an excellent experience with the firm.
- In addition to handling calls from leads, clients and other stakeholders, you will track, maintain, update, and communicate with prospective clients.
- You will also engage with our audiences on our various social media platforms, with the responsibility of ensuring that anyone requesting information through our social channels receives a timely response.
- You will not need substantive knowledge of U.S. immigration law, but you must master our standard operating procedures for servicing our followers and dealing with clients.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are of the utmost importance for this position, as are judgment and discretion.
Schedule
- This schedule is in the U.S. central time zone and it has been crafted to meet our operational needs. As such, it is non-negotiable.
- Start Time: 9:00 AM
- Lunch Break: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
- End Time: 7:00 PM

Next, we’ll conduct a series of interviews - at least two, possibly three - by video conference with competitive applicants before contacting references and doing background checks.
We may also request that you complete writing tests or other tests gauged to assess your skills and likelihood for job success.
If we think you’re the best fit for the job and our firm’s culture, we will extend a job offer detailing the precise terms of the employment, including compensation and benefits.
Compensation:$900 - $1200 per month
Responsibilities:- Follow communication scripts and use knowledge of the company’s services to go off-script when necessary
- Return phone calls and reply to emails from leads
- Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, handling incoming mail, and submitting packets to immigration agencies
- Engage with our audiences on our various social media platforms, with the responsibility of ensuring that anyone requesting information through our social channels receives a timely response.
- Recommend improvements for systems and processes to boost organizational efficiency
