JOB DESCRIPTION
Boutique fine foods importer seeking COMMISSION-BASED sales representative to grow product sales throughout the United States, with a concentration in developing sales within Texas. This is a 1099 consultant position.
The sales representative will be responsible for selling our imported fine foods line of products to distributors and directly to restaurants - chefs, caterers.
Along with a passion for gourmet cuisine, the account executive should meet or exceed sales goals, provide excellent customer service and display professionalism at all times. The sales representative will be responsible for developing market competence, maintaining client relationships and acquiring technical knowledge of products and their characteristics/applications.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years experience in and knowledge of food service, foods sales and/or hospitality industries. Past and/or current experience working as a chef in a find foods setting or settings is highly desired.
At least 2 years experience with relationship-based sales.
Highly developed communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate effectively in person, over the telephone and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
Team player that is motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes.
College degree desired but not required.

COMPENSATION
