My client is the Belgian entity of a a big group operating across Europe. Their expertise focuses on any

With more then 3 thousands employees, the group handles ocean, air & road transport to and from 157 countries around the world.

Having recently (2022) acquired a new base in Belgium, the group now focuses on bringing together the best of both world : the local expertise of the Belgian entity and the support and investment power of a big group.

After the takeover, the Belgian entity is facing a rapidly growing trend. To support it, the company has decided to invest in further developing it's field presence with the recruitment of an additional external sales for the Belgian market.

Job Description

As external sales you are in charge of :

  • building up on the existing network of the company to build long-term commercial relationship with existing clients, identified prospects and potential new partners
  • further expanding the activities of the company though business development activities - reaching out to potential clients, networking, visiting new locations, etc.
  • acting as an ambassador - as sole field sale representative of the structure, you are the face of the company on the market.
  • collaborating with both the local management & the group's hierarchy to share your expert insight on the Belgian market while bringing ideas / propositions the the most fitting commercial strategy
  • collaborating with your colleagues from internal sales, sales admin, accounting and marketing to ensure maximum efficiency

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have : Mandatory requirements :

  • Fluency in Dutch & English, French is a nice to have

  • a first field sales experience, ideally already some knowledge/interest in the field of logistics In addition, the right candidate will have

- a strong sense of business - you are not afraid to negotiate to win the deal

- a real field commercial approach - you love to meet your prospects face to face and you have a human approach

- a strong interest in logistics & some entrepreneur mentality - thanks to its recent fusion to a bigger group, the Belgian entity of this company is in a strong growth phase. There are plenty of milestones to reach and growth perspectives in sight for who wants to put in a hand and invest themselves in a company they have the chance to shape.

What's on Offer

The successful candidate will receive a competitive gross fixed salary (between 4 and 5.5k gross fixed based on level of experience and expertise in the field).

The base salary is topped by all standard extra legal benefits (car, meal vouchers, yearly bonus, daily allowances, eco vouchers, etc.)

In addition the company offers a qualitative onboardig program, a flexible schedule with homeworking policy and growth perspectives in Belgium or abroad.
